How can Creative Coding be more experimental than just typing text on a computer?
Digital Bricks is an alternative way to learn Creative Coding, It uses lego bricks as a language to allow users to experiment with code in a bug free environment.
Creative Coding is one of my favorite mediums for experimentation. It feels to me like the pen and paper of the computing world. The only problem is that learning how to code just seems unachievable when you don't know anything about it. Throughout my final year at the Royal College of Art, I have been researching this topic, iterating and came up with this device that uses a tangible interface and a language made of lego as an environment for visual coding. This device has for an aim to give people a rough understanding of coding logic, but also get them started with it in a very playful and experimental way.
